Who can participate in the contest?
Only legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older by 6/24/07 who are, or will be, enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college, university or film school in California, Oregon or Washington, at any time from 6/1/07 through 12/31/07. Winners must have at least one semester, trimester or quarter of education remaining after 8/3/07 in order to claim a scholarship prize.
How do you enter?
Go to contest.my76video.com to register your entry and upload your video. Remember to have fun (it will show in your work) and Get the Spirit!
Are there guidelines for submission?
Yes. Here is a shortlist. Please see the Official Rules for a more comprehensive list.
  • Your video must be exactly 25 seconds long and in .AVI, .MPG or .MOV format.
  • Final videos must be made to a 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • Submissions need to be 320 x 240 pixels and no larger than 200MB.
  • Finalists will be required to submit broadcast quality assets for final editing.
  • No copyrighted material! We all love great music and video clips but using stuff someone else created and/or owns is a deal breaker!
  • No inappropriate content that we couldn’t show on TV and that would make your mother blush (or worse).
  • No use of another company's name, trademark or logo.

When will winners be announced?
Winning entries will be selected by November 7, 2007, and will be posted to the video sharing site at contest.my76video.com. Those who have signed up for the contest or giveaway will receive an e-mail notification when the videos are live.
When will the winner of The People have Spoken Award be announced?
The winner will be announced on November 7, 2007.
